Fiber Optic Ceiling Star Kits are a Home Lighting Improvement Project the Entire Family Will Enjoy!
We suggest you paint the ceiling in the display room indigo or blue to provide a contrast color for the stars. Then, place fiber optic cables and illuminator in the ceiling or crawl space above the desired display area. Drill a hole in the ceiling for each starpoint to create the pattern or design of your choice. Pull the fibers (lubricated with silicone) through the holes. Cut back the fiber ends in the display area and turn on the illuminator.
The illuminator directs light through the fiber optic cables, creating a bright starpoint in the ceiling. The color wheel in the illuminator, displays a purple, blue, and/or black background, creating a realistic starry night sky.
