Review of Lisa Are Wulf's Book "On a Quest for Christ: Tracing the Footsteps of Your Spiritual Journey"

Lisa Are' Wulf's book, "On a Quest for Christ: Tracing the Footsteps of Your Spiritual Journey" is a 30-day devotional that aims to help the reader examine facets of their spiritual journey from when they first heard God's voice through major life events that have helped the reader to learn to rest in the arms of God no matter what tests and challenges may come their way.
The chapters of the book are titled with a topic relevant to the chapter, such as "Awakening". Each chapter of the book focuses on the topic and includes scripture, an introduction, Lisa's relevant story, a place for the reader to jot down their story, reflections, a prayer Lisa wrote related to the chapter topic, and a place for the reader to jot down their own special prayer. The book is a quick read and the chapters are short, but impactful. At first, I just could not get into the book as I tend not to like books that require note taking . . but then this is a devotional, so I gave it another look and was thrilled with the wisdom Lisa pours out in this book.
Each of us has a very unique story about how God first called us, how he drew us near and how he eventually won our hearts. Many of us seek to see God moving in our lives, but may not be able to see his masterplan for our lives. This book takes the reader on a journey to examine topics that cause self reflection and concentration on the application of God's word to specific issues and events.
While I was reading "On a Quest for Christ: Tracing the Footsteps of Your Spiritual Journey", I posted exerpts on Living Water Home Spa Shop's Facebook fan page. I was pleased by how much the words in this book blessed our fans and how many people were moved by this book, even when a few short sentences were shared. How much more will the readers be blessed by reading the entire 30-day devotional and going on a Quest for Christ?
The book draws to a wonderful conclusion that readers are sure to appreciate . . but I won't tell you here . . you'll have to buy the book to find out how wonderful "On A Quest for Christ" ends.
