Cleaning Cartrdige Improves Unit Performance Due to Hard Water Issues!

Cleaning Filter cleans the plates of the Genesis Platinum. The cleaning process is recommended for customers with hard water and/or scaling issues that may interfere with the Genesis performance. If you have hard water, you should use the cleaning cartridge once every six to nine months by placing it in the compartment for filter #2 in the Genesis Platinum unit. This filter cartridge is not permanently placed in the unit, but used once every 6-9 months for cleaning purposes only.
